The guys from Teddy’s Bigger Burgers opened Tex 808 BBQ & Brews in 2019 serving the best Texas BBQ in Hawaii. The menu expanded to include Burritos and Street Tacos made with our slow smoked Brisket and Pulled Pork. We started making our own Salsa, Lime Crema, Chipotle Aioli and Guacamole which became quite a hit!

We found an awesome location in East Oahu to feature our awesome Mexican food in a Quick-Serve fun atmosphere, deciding to call it “Tio’s” as a nod to our founder, Ted “Uncle” Tsakiris who passed away in 2022. Tio’s expanded the Mexican offerings with lots of new items such as our Barbacoa Steak, Tinga Chicken, homemade Birria sauce and various Salsas.
