Kulana Malama is seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to join our team full-time. This position plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through engaging and meaningful activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and lead activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Assist residents in participating in individual and group activities tailored to their needs and preferences.
Collaborate with the Recreation Coordinator to develop new and exciting programs.
Ensure the safety and well-being of residents during activities.
Document resident participation and progress.
Qualifications:
CNA Certification required. (May be NA Trained, and willing to take Prometric Exam for State Certification)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Creative and enthusiastic approach to engaging with residents.
Ability to work weekends is a must.
