We are looking for a Court Outreach Advocate (ExPO Advocate) to support our Survivor Advocacy Services, and someone who is inspired by our mission to end domestic violence in Hawaii!

How You’ll be Making an Impact at DVAC:

The ExPO Advocate will be based at Kapolei Courthouse and will support survivors as they seek legal protection. We are looking for someone who can build rapport and trust quickly, has the passion and empathy to understand and listen to stories from survivors, and someone who takes initiative. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 1 year of direct experience working with multicultural communities and survivors of domestic violence.
  • Experience providing crisis counseling and survivor-centered support.
  • Strong knowledge of community resources and referral networks.
