Bicycle Repair Mechanic
A Bicycle Repair Mechanic in a retail environment is responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing bicycles, as well as providing exceptional customer service to enhance the overall shopping experience. Key Responsibilities:

Bicycle Assembly and Inspection:
- Assemble new bicycles and home fitness equipment.
- Inspect and test bicycles post-assembly to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Maintenance and Repair:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on customer bicycles, including tasks such as brake adjustments, gear tuning, and wheel truing.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide accurate repair estimates.
- Complete service and work orders efficiently to meet customer expectations.

Customer Service:
- Engage with customers to understand their cycling needs and preferences.
- Offer expert advice on bicycle selection, accessories, and maintenance practices.
- Educate customers on proper bike maintenance and safety to ensure a positive and enjoyable biking experience.

Inventory and Shop Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Assist in managing inventory levels of parts and supplies, ensuring timely restocking.
- Keep detailed records of all work performed and manage inventory of parts and supplies.

- Work collaboratively with sales associates and other team members to provide a seamless customer experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in electric and pedal bicycle assembly, maintenance, and repair.
