Kona Brewing Hawaii has an immediate opening for a Part Time Bartender in Kailua Kona. This position reports to the General Manager.
Specific job duties include:
Support the Company’s Values
Must have open availability to include Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Do what it takes to deliver the highest quality and value possible to our guests
Act with honesty, respect and integrity, in the market and with each other
Follow safety guidelines
Greets and serves customers in a friendly, courteous and timely manner
Follows up on beverage and food orders in a timely manner
Receives and processes payments
Assists in keeping pub clean and following sanitation requirements
Educates guests about the company and our beer
Familiarity with POS systems
Responsible for delivering food to customers
Adheres to proper hygiene
Other tasks as assigned
Attendance is required per company policy
Bartender position is a tipped position
Position requirements:
Excellent customer service and hospitality skills
Open availability to include - Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Strong knowledge of beer
Previous bartending experience is preferred
Hold a current Blue Card - compliance with the Department of Liquor
Track inventory levels and restock
Strong communication skills
Attention to Detail - accurate drink preparation and order-taking
Excellent problem solving skills
Works well independently and cooperatively in a team environment
Dependable
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Compensation: Hourly rate at $14 - this is also a tipped positon
