We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to ensure accurate inventory processing and stock organization. This role is responsible for receiving and documenting incoming items, maintaining inventory records, resolving discrepancies, performing daily adjustments, and supporting audits and physical counts. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and communicates effectively with teams to maintain accurate inventory levels in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate must be currently residing on the island of Oahu, Hawaii (relocation not available).

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Receive, inspect, and document incoming inventory items to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Organize and maintain stock, ensuring proper labeling and storage in designated locations.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, variances, and shortages.
  • Update and maintain accurate inventory records in the WEBAPP system.
  • Support physical inventory counts and assist with audit preparation activities.
  • Perform daily inventory adjustments, including write-offs for damages, obsolete (OBS) stock, donations, and samples.
  • Communicate with team members and departments regarding inventory levels, issues, and needs.
  • Push and pull products; Stock bread, milk, and eggs
  • Operate forklift truck when necessary.
  • Follow all existing company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as requested in a diligent and conscientious manner.
  • Ability to work in a cold environment for long periods of time.

WHAT WE'LL LOVE ABOUT YOU

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing business conditions and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure, particularly in situations involving delayed or missed inventory deliveries and shipments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including solid reading comprehension.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and maintain organization across interrelated departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and composure.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude; capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
  • At least three (3) years of hands-on inventory control experience in wholesale distribution, warehouse operations, or retail work environment.
