We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Utility Worker to join our restaurant team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our establishment, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our customers and a smooth operation for our staff.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms - Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment - Assist with food preparation tasks as needed - Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal - Restock supplies and organize storage areas - Perform basic cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces - Assist other staff members with various tasks as required - Adhere to all health and safety regulations - Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness - Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays - Basic English language skills for effective communication with team members - Reliable transportation to and from work - Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required - Willingness to learn and follow proper sanitation procedures
