Assist FOH Mgr in all aspects of the FOH Manager position when absent.
Assist in training & mentoring FOH staff regarding customer service practices, and cash handling procedures.
Ensure staff adherence to policies and procedures.
Assist in the Recruit, maintaining staffing quotas as necessary.
Knowledgeable of the POS Clover system and assist with refunds, system errors/issues.
Oversee the daily Opening and Closing tasks and Daily Clover Reports of cash drawers and transactions.
Assist FOH Mgr with Daily bank deposits to Central Pacific Bank, Lahaina Branch as needed.
In absences of the FOH Mgr assist with submittal of daily bank deposit slips/receipts and any discrepancies of cash/financial transactions to Admin Office. These banking documents are to be submitted to Kalei’s driver on his deliveries in a timely manner.
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
Asssit in Oversight of FOH staff with food safety, customer service, cash handling, liquor laws/compliance, loss prevention with open tickets and retail inventory.
Assist with estimating future needs for retail, FOH supplies (utensils, napkins, takeout containers, cleaning supplies, and bathroom supplies). Communicate the inventory with Chef and Admin.
Work closely with our Chefs, and BOH staff to ensure continuity and quality of service to our customers.
Liaison between Administration and interdepartmental personnel.
Maintain a Manager’s Daily Log when on shift
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
Timely report of any Injuries or Incidents to Admin.
Assist with managing and sustaining KML’s good image and suggest ways to improve/sustain it.
Knowledgeable of Hawaii Liquor Laws and possess a current Manager’s Liquor Commission Card.
Ensure daily clock ins/clock outs are reviewed by end shift/day for any discrepancies and corrections made before payroll deadlines. Coordinate with Jen Mather=HR/Payroll Administrator.
Assist with setup of restaurant for secure of the restaurant including the patio area.
Knowledgeable with Cannery Mall security measures in case of Emergency procedures and contacts.
