The Music Librarian is responsible for the organization and operation of the Music & Instrument Library and provides essential support to HYS programs and productions. Responsibilities include preparing and distributing music, managing the library inventory, coordinating synchronization licensing and performance rights, and assisting with various programmatic and operational tasks. The Music Librarian works collaboratively with conductors, administrative staff, interns, parents, and volunteers, and performs duties aligned with HYS's mission and policies. This part-time position averages 8–10 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours during productions. Approximately 95% of the work must be completed on-site.
