Why This Role Matters 

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workforce. You’ll lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, collaborate with department leaders to understand hiring needs, and build strong candidate pipelines. This is a strategic, hands-on role ideal for someone who is passionate about people, community, and organizational growth. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. 
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract top local talent for warehouse, logistics, driver, and administrative roles. 
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and create effective recruitment plans. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with local schools, community organizations, and workforce programs to promote employment opportunities. 
  • Represent the company at job fairs, career events, and other community hiring initiatives. 
  • Oversee and improve candidate experience from initial contact to onboarding. 
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and internal policies. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS). 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably in logistics, distribution, or similar industries. 
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting techniques, labor market trends, and sourcing tools. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple open roles in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and HRIS systems. 
  • Deep understanding and appreciation of local culture and hiring dynamics in Hawai‘i is highly preferred.
