Responsibilities:
- Disassemble buildings with care to salvage materials for reuse - Assist with Hawaii Island Yard operations as needed - Perform surface and structural salvage - Handle recycling and waste materials - Prepare and load salvaged materials for hauling - Participate in daily safety meetings - Follow supervisory directions - Maintain safe, clean, and orderly job sites - Work collaboratively with team members
Requirements:
- Ability to work in all outdoor elements and conditions - Strong attention to detail and safety - Experience or willingness to learn leadership skills - Self-motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic - Excellent communication skills - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Experience using hand and power tools - Ability to wear required safety gear (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, etc.) - Comfortable with physically demanding labor - Strong commitment to environmental sustainability - Cell phone and email communication - 3 good professional references (no friends or family)
