The Utility Worker (Housekeeper) is cross-trained. This position is a flexible position that will be assigned to various departments by management to perform various jobs. During the time of operational needs, you may be assigned to another department.
Housekeeping daily duties include tasks such as: vaccum, sweep and mop floors, wipe and wash down walls as needed, dusts and polishes furniture, empties waste cans, keep windows clean, washes curtains as needed.
Toilet and show duties include: scrubbing and disinfecting, replacing toilet tissue, paper towels, soap and other supplies, check drains, lights, reports and light repairs.
Cleans all office areas, staff lounge, activities building, patios and lanais.
Recreation rooms: Vacuum and clean, check furniture, lights and tables, report repairs to maintenance department.
Clean wheelchairs and fans
Resident rooms: Clean windows, screens and sills, change linens, clean beds/bedding, vacuum and mop the floors.
