We’re seeking an experienced and mission-driven Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and help sustain our life-changing work.

About the Role:

As our Finance Manager, you'll oversee all financial and administrative functions of the agency—including budgeting, financial reporting, audits, and compliance. You’ll work closely with leadership to maintain transparency and sustainability, ensuring our resources are used effectively to support survivors across HawaiĘ»i.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all financial planning, accounting, and reporting functions
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets and monthly financial reports
  • Oversee audits and ensure grant and government compliance
  • Maintain systems using QuickBooks, MIP, and other accounting tools
  • Support Vice President of Operations and CEO with budget management and financial analysis
  • Supervise and train finance staff
  • Prepare and update agency accounting manual as needed
  • Attend Operations and All Staff meetings and participate in trainings to enhance skills. Keep updated and current on the issues by attending four relevant substantive trainings per year for the position and agency.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, fund accounting, payroll, A/R, A/P, and audits
  • Experience with QuickBooks, MIP, and nonprofit financial practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy and organizational strength
