Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maneuver various types of construction vehicles and equipment - Transport materials, tools, and supplies to and from job sites - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance - Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance - Assist in loading and unloading cargo when necessary - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site managers, and team members - Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies - Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report any issues promptly
Requirements:
- Valid CDL B license with a clean driving record - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CDL B driver, preferably in the construction industry - Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations - Strong communication and time management skills - Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs - Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional overtime and weekend work - High school diploma or equivalent - Air break - Manual Transmission - Familiarity with construction terminology and processes is a plus
