Veterinary Dermatology Technician

We are seeking a Veterinary Dermatology Technician to join our specialty team,
supporting our board-certified dermatologist in providing high-quality, compassionate
care to patients with complex dermatologic conditions.

This role is ideal for a technician who thrives in a clinical environment that values
precision, patient advocacy, and strong collaboration. Experience in specialty medicine
is a plus, but not required—what matters most is your attention to detail, technical
skillset, and commitment to excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with intradermal skin allergy testing and allergen mapping
Prepare and compound allergen-specific immunotherapy (antigen) injections andsub-lingual treatments
-Room dermatology consults efficiently and professionally
-Draw blood, place intravenous catheters, and collect diagnostic samples
-Monitor patients and anesthesia during sedated dermatologic procedures
-Support the dermatologist during specialized procedures (biopsies, C02 Laser,
video otoscopy, etc.)
-Maintain detailed medical records and ensure sample accuracy and proper
labeling
-Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and the care team
Requirements:
-Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, or LVT), or equivalent experience
-Strong technical skills: venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring
-Comfortable working with sedated patients and managing critical tasks
independently
-Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of maintaining a structured workflow
-Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Preferred Qualifications:
-Previous experience in dermatology or another specialty service
-Familiarity with allergy testing protocols and immunotherapy preparation
-Interest in continued learning and professional development in a specialty setting
