Responsibilities: - Transport salvaged materials from deconstruction project sites to our Oahu Redistribution Center - Perform daily inspections and maintenance on Re-use Hawaiʻi vehicles - Collaborate with the Deconstruction team to salvage valuable building materials - Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently - Track vehicle and equipment inspections/maintenance using the Whiparound app - Ensure proper stacking, organization, and securing of building materials for transport - Participate in hand-deconstruction of building structures, including surface salvage and disassembly - Handle all materials responsibly - Conduct supply runs and pick up donated materials as needed
Requirements: - Valid driver's license - Excellent knowledge of Oʻahu roadways - Experience driving cab-over flatbed trucks and box trucks - Construction background and experience - Proficiency in using hand and power tools - Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety - Reliable, responsible, and accountable work ethic - Excellent verbal communication skills - Passion for environmental conservation and Re-use Hawaiʻi's mission
