As a Logistics Specialist at Kona Brewing Hawaii, you keep the beer (and other products) flowing. You will coordinate outbound and inbound freight, maintain organized and accurate inventory, and serve as a key connection point between our warehouses, production teams, carriers, and customers. What You’ll Do
Coordinate and schedule outbound and inbound shipments of Kona Brewing Hawaii and contract partner products, serving as the primary contact for carriers and managing schedule changes, documentation, and BOL discrepancies.
Move raw materials and finished goods between the main production facility and secondary warehouse on time, maintaining organized, secure, and safe warehouse operations.
Maintain accurate inventory by updating the ERP system, processing all shipping and receiving paperwork, supporting inventory counts, and preparing related reports.
Assist with loading/unloading trucks and pulling orders to meet delivery timelines, ensuring day-to-day logistics run smoothly.
Collaborate with operations, production, finance, and other employees and departments to resolve issues, improve processes, and support a strong team culture aligned with our HEART values.
What You Bring
Degree in Management Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with 1–2 years of experience preferred; or a high school diploma with 2+ years of comparable logistics/warehouse experience.
Experience in manufacturing, food production, or a similar industry is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office with strong Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP systems; NetSuite and shipping‑specific software experience is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organization, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-focused mindset and clear communication skills with both internal teams and external partners.
Ability to work collaboratively, give and receive feedback, and model HEART values in daily work.
Physical & Schedule Requirements
Ability to frequently reach, twist, stoop, bend, crouch, stand, walk for 8–10 hour shifts, life 30 lbs repeatedly and maneuver up to 180 lb kegs - all while wearing required personal protective equipment.
Ability to work extended hours when needed and to work in varying weather conditions including humidity and seasonal temperature changes.
Ability to obtain and maintain DOT certification and operate powered industrial trucks and pallet jacks; annual recertification is required.
