We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, materials, or passengers to their destinations in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Operate vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and company policies
Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries or passenger arrivals
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Load and unload cargo or assist passengers as needed
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and any incidents
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
Keep vehicles clean and well-maintained
Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
Requirements:
Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type
Clean driving record with no major violations (no more than 2 convictions within 18 month period)
Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to read maps and use GPS navigation systems
Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects when necessary
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
High school diploma or equivalent
