
Essential Functions & Basic Duties:
• Work efficiently under pressure while handling multiple responsibilities, including member service, cash balancing, data entry, and communication.
• Handle multiple tasks at once – such as member inquiries, transaction processing, account lookups, and multiple communication channels– while staying focused and accurate.
• Navigate and operate multiple systems concurrently to support account maintenance, transaction-processing, and member inquiries.
• This role demands complex thinking, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-stakes, multifaceted transactions with accuracy and professionalism.
• Contribute to a collaborative, community-focused environment that supports the credit union’s mission.
• Provide members with information about services, products, programs and policies of the Credit Union
• Perform other duties as assigned to support department goals
Qualifications:
• High School degree or equivalent work experience
• Prior credit union or bank teller experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Operate consumer applications and business equipment. Good typing and 10-key skills
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
Compensation:
• $18 - $25 an hour
