About the Role

The Pension & Annuity Lead will work under the Pension & Annuity Supervisor to assist in the oversight of Pension and Annuity Department operations, including processing pension and annuity benefits and collaborating with the Fund’s legal counsel, plan actuaries, and Trustees.

Responsibilities:

  • Process Pension and Annuity benefits
  • Service client and fund professional inquiries
  • Submit benefits information to plan custodian
  • File maintenance for all clients and fund professionals
  • Assist with client mailings and regulatory notices
  • Maintain status reports and provide reports as needed
  • Occasional carrying, loading and transporting of supplies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficient in math
  • 10-key by touch
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Self-starter and be able to work independently
Nice to Haves:
  • Knowledge of pension and annuity fund rules and regulations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is a plus
  • Customer service and processor experience
Working Conditions:
  • PAI offices are indoors & air-conditioned while conditions may vary at client locations
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch
  • The duties assigned will have situations that will require extra time

Compensation:
$25.00 to $25.00 / Hourly
