We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Diversion Programs Coordinator to join our team. Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of diversion programs, ensuring compliance with all program guidelines and requirements. Conduct intake assessments and screenings to determine participant eligibility for diversion programs. Develop individualized service plans for program participants based on their specific needs and circumstances. Monitor participant progress throughout the program and maintain accurate, detailed case files and documentation. Facilitate connections between participants and community resources, including counseling services, educational programs, employment assistance, and other support services. Collaborate with law enforcement, court personnel, attorneys, and other stakeholders to ensure effective program implementation. Conduct regular check-ins with participants through in-person meetings, phone calls, and home visits as needed. Organize and facilitate educational workshops and group sessions for program participants. Prepare reports and presentations on program outcomes, participant progress, and program effectiveness. Respond to inquiries from participants, family members, and community partners in a timely and professional manner. Maintain confidentiality of all participant information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Participate in community outreach activities to promote awareness of diversion programs. Assist with program evaluation and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in social work, criminal justice, psychology, counseling, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of two years of experience working in social services, case management, or criminal justice programs. Strong understanding of diversion programs, restorative justice principles, and community-based interventions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from various backgrounds, including those facing challenges related to substance abuse, mental health issues, or involvement in the justice system. Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community visits and meetings. Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends as program needs require. Crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations. Knowledge of community resources and social service agencies in the area. Bilingual skills are highly desirable. Ability to pass background checks as required by funding sources and organizational policies.
