About the role

The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for effectively managing client accounts. AM maintains consistent communication with the client and internal departments to ensure the highest quality of work is delivered, meeting client expectations. Developing and maintaining business relationships with clients and external partners is key for this position.

AM guides all aspects of clients’ digital marketing, from idea creation to development to completion. The AM works with other departments within Vibe to complete projects and must demonstrate leadership skills through motivating the team to get the best work done in a timely manner. 

This is a full-time position. All hours must be worked in office during office hours: Monday – Friday, 8-5pm. Employee will be required to work outside of normal business hours on occasion for client events, press photo/video shoots, etc. Candidate must be located on Oahu.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Client Relations

  • Become a part of the clients’ teams and integrate into their brands

  • Communicate frequently and thoroughly with clients to ensure all of their needs are understood and addressed; maintain consistent client meetings and/or phone calls to develop and maintain client/Vibe relationship

  • Build strong client relationships to maintain and grow trust and loyalty

  • Act as the clients’ representative within Vibe to make sure requests are met and customer experience is positive

  • Handle and resolve complaints in a respectful way; address any issues, project delays, and client feedback

Project Management

  • Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure appropriate strategies are implemented for the clients’ brand and that all customer projects are fulfilled in a timely manner 

  • Manage client projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines, quality, and brand standards are met or exceeded

  • Lead brainstorming sessions to ensure client strategies are fresh and innovative

  • Assist with implementation of client projects when needed

  • Manage account budgets, when applicable

Social Media

  • Create social media content for clients that hits key copy points while remaining creative and on-brand

  • Develop benchmarks for client accounts 

Community Outreach

  • Create positive community relationships and spreading brand awareness of Vibe through regular networking opportunities

Candidate requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred

  • Satisfactory problem-solving skills to help resolve customer complaints or needs

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively relay ideas to clients and team members

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of clients and team members

  • Exceptional analytical skills to interpret digital marketing data

  • Time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple tasks, projects, and clients at once

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent leadership ability


  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing, sales, communications, or similar field preferred

  • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 per company vaccination policy
