Cooling Hawaii is a locally owned and operated HVAC Contractor Company now hiring full-time positions for experienced, reliable and knowledgeable HVAC Installers!
Our ideal candidates should have the following requirements:
3+ years of experience performing Commercial and Residential Refrigeration and HVAC installs, with some troubleshooting/service diagnostics, repair, preventative maintenance experience
Competent in complete equipment installations
Possess a working knowledge of local codes and general industry standards
Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with tools and instruments of the trade
Knowledge of and ability to understand construction plans/drawings, especially mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specification sheets/manuals pertaining to routine installation and repairs of equipment and systems
Must be able to work independently in the field and communicate effectively and professionally with customers, foremen, other tradesmen, project managers, and superintendents
Valid driver's license with clean driving abstract and background check
Must own hand tools
Must be able to lift heavy equipment
Capable of working overtime when the need arises
Experience with DDC controls, BMS systems, and/or installing sheet metal is a plus
