The Front Desk Agent is the first and last impression of a guest’s experience at Waikiki Malia. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive, disciplined, and knowledgeable. A customer-oriented approach is essential.
Essential Job Duties:
Greets and welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
Performs check in and check out procedures while posting guest charges accurately.
Handles all guest information with confidentiality.
Assists guests with questions, directions, and other important information regarding the hotel and surrounding neighborhood.
Common sense and good judgment are crucial in this position. Must know how to field complaints and respond to them in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.
Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest and operational needs.
Perform a variety of other duties as assigned.
General Requirements:
The Front Desk Agent must be reliable and flexible for scheduling;available on nights, weekends, and holidays (as necessary).
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Computer skills and knowledge are required.
Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
