We are looking for a full-time Inventory Control Specialist for the following job duties:
Manages Daily Cycle Counts:
Set up and maintain cycle count schedule
Plan and complete cycle counts according to schedule
Tracks and researches variances and reports to management
Ability to professionally discuss issues with management and review process with auditors
Manages Inventory:
Tracks and manages the disposition of outdated/damaged products in the chill, frozen and dry areas.
Accurately keep record of all transactions made to correct inventory discrepancies
Tracks and manages variances in all internal warehouses
Manages sample products
Review and manage Daily Short Sheet Report
Work with dock office Staff & QA/QC on product returns to inventory
Work with sales and purchasing departments unused inventory billing.
Take the lead on receiving all Palama Meat processing products.
Participates in running (Inventory Support) annual public sale
Operating of equipment – Electric walkie rider pallet jack and vertical order pickers
Work with Quality Control personnel on all recall issues
Work with all department
You would be great for this role if you have these qualifications:
Education and/or Experience – Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Skills and Abilities – (1) year of forklift experience preferred but not required. Ability to use RF equipment preferred but not required. Ability to work overtime as necessary to complete tasks.
