The Box Truck Driver will use company trucks to travel between customer accounts and safely complete product deliveries and pick-ups including invoice adjustments or credits. Must maintain a valid driver license, PUC certificate, clean and verifiable driving record. CDL License not required for this role.
Shift start time: 3AM
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Drive box truck to make deliveries to grocery stores.
- Merchandising/stocking
- Safely drive and operate box trucks.
- Load and unload shipments for delivery and pick-ups.
- Read and make adjustments/credits to invoices.
- Adhere to cleanliness and safety requirements.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and report preventative maintenance.
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
- Report defects, accidents or violations.
WHAT WE’LL LOVE ABOUT YOU
- Valid Driver's License.
- Complete PUC medical requirements.
- Clean and verifiable driving history.
- Knowledge of local routes around Kauai.
- Experience working in tight spaces.
- Accuracy and thoroughness.
- Able to communicate effectively with management, customers, port representatives.
- Able to communicate effectively via written, oral, and diagram form.
- Experience keeping orderly logs.
- Willing to assist in warehouse as needed (approximately 80% driving, 20% operations).
- Pay will not fluctuate based on duties.
