Join our dynamic team in the Inventory, Warehouse & Storage industry as a Warehouse Day - Receiver. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to ensure the efficient and accurate receiving of products and materials. This role is critical in maintaining our high standards of quality and safety, following established procedures and protocols.
Responsibilities
Inspect the condition of incoming products and materials according to the Inbound Receiving SOP and ensure compliance with HACCP requirements.
Examine deliveries for any suspicious or threatening items.
Report non-compliance issues to the Supervisor immediately.
Utilize an RF gun to receive inbound products and verify products and quantities against purchase orders.
Sort and palletize products for receiving, adhering to the Inbound Receiving SOP.
Label products according to the Label Instruction SOP and verify label accuracy and application.
Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel to clear products from the receiving area efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas in accordance with our SSOPs.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Use pallet jacks to stage products if the Supervisor or forklift operator is unavailable.
Adhere to all safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with warehouse staff.
Experience with RF guns and pallet jacks is preferred.
Commitment to safety and quality standards.
Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
