Job Overview: We are currently seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our dedicated team at Kulana Malama. As a vital member of our healthcare family, you will contribute to the well-being of medically fragile children by providing specialized respiratory care in our unique, child-friendly environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat respiratory conditions in medically fragile children.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments with a focus on creating a positive and comfortable experience for each child.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic care for our young patients.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
• Provide education to families on respiratory care techniques and disease management.

Qualifications:

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Hawaii.
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Ability to work with sensitivity and empathy in a pediatric healthcare setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• CPR and BLS certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in pediatric respiratory therapy.
• Familiarity with child-friendly therapeutic approaches.
