The Air Freight Driver will use company trucks to travel between airport cargo and HFA warehouse. The Driver will also assist in the warehouse, offloading and loading air freight shipments including verifying accuracy of perishable goods. Must maintain a valid driver license, PUC certificate, clean and verifiable driving record. 
Start time 7AM or 12PM depending on day of the week but must have flexible schedule.
Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday.
CDL A License preferred but CDL B minimum requirement.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Drive between airport cargo and HFA Warehouse, picking up and delivering air freight cargo.
• Work within refrigerated warehouse offloading and loading trucks.
• Handle product, verify count, invoicing, and resolve discrepancies.
• Safely practice driving, operation of 26 foot delivery trucks and flatbeds, and appropriate methods for lifting and loading product, supplies and equipment.
• Safely operate material handling of equipment and dollies.
• Utilize lift gates, two wheeled trucks and/or pallet jacks.
• Participate in employee safety meetings.
• Participate in periodic and annual staff training in food safety, employee safety and operational programs.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and report preventative maintenance.
• Comply with all applicable OSHA regulations and commercial driving requirements as per DOT.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.

WHAT WE'LL LOVE ABOUT YOU

• Valid Class A or B CDL license
• Complete PUC medical requirements
• Clean and verifiable driving history
• Ability to obtain TWIC credential
• Flexibility to work various schedules a must
• Knowledge of local and heavy weight routes around Oahu
• Experience driving 26-foot straight truck
• Experience working in tight spaces
• Accuracy and thoroughness
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, customers, port representatives
• Ability to communicate effectively via written, oral, and diagram form
• Experience keeping orderly logs
• Willingness to assist in warehouse as needed
