GENERAL SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician provides general maintenance and orderliness of the property and oversight of maintenance systems to ensure optional operations. This includes both preventative maintenance task, as well as responding to maintenance emergencies that arise.

Beginner to intermediate-level electrical knowledge to ensure safety
Intermediate to advanced carpentry/handyman skills to address repairs of building and equipment
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Operates with safety in mind at all times
Can work well both independently, and as a part of a team
Can operate all basic manual/electric tools needed for routine maintenance tasks
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues with assistance from other staff/researching online
Can utilize a daily project management tool (Meistertask) to drive performance/tasks
Has the confidence to clarify any unclear tasks with managers
Has the discretionary judgement to know when to prioritize tasks to ensure any tasks that inhibit service are prioritized
Groundskeeping if the facility contains lawns or other outdoor areas in need of maintenance
Interpersonal skills to interact with staff/guests productively and positively
Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in a safe, satisfactory manner
Can stand for long periods of time (majority of shift)
Can bend, twist, squat, kneel, reach overhead, and walk safely
Can strictly adhere to all sanitation/safety protocol at all times
