Responsibilities:
- Master the art of animal handling as you assist veterinarians with examinations, blood draws, and other procedures.
- Flex your knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology like a pro.
- Channel your inner pharmacist by preparing medications, counting pills, and handling prescriptions with precision.
- Navigate the world of controlled substances with the expertise of a seasoned detective, keeping logs and following protocols to a T.
- Show off your skills in blood draws, catheter placements, bandage changes, and more.
- Be the veterinarian’s right-hand person during surgeries, handling everything from patient prep to surgical instruments.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and prep samples for lab pick-up like a science whiz.
- Keep those pearly whites shining with routine dental cleanings and maintenance.
- Provide top-notch care to patients before and after surgery, administering medications and treatments as needed.
- Capture the perfect radiograph using your safety-first approach and develop images for review.
- Enter medical records with the precision of a court stenographer and document client interactions professionally.
- Educate clients and staff, and even train junior team members or interns.
- Triage emergent and non-emergent cases like a superhero, assisting with life-saving measures when needed.

Requirements:
- Language Skills: Ability to read and write instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Proper phone etiquette and the ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic, compute rates, and interpret charts. Experience with unit conversions and calculating drug dosages.
- Reasoning Ability: Capable of following clear instructions and solving problems efficiently.
- Other Skills and Abilities: Comfortable with computers, especially Windows-based software.

Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Licensed Veterinary Technicians would be an added bonus
