WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Senior Accountant at Accumulus, you’ll play a key role in overseeing client engagements, leading staff, and driving accurate, timely financial reporting. You’ll be a trusted partner to clients and a mentor within our growing firm.
Responsibilities
Lead monthly close process and prepare accurate financial statements
Oversee AR/AP and daily transaction processing
Reconcile general ledger and maintain audit-ready books
Prepare and file Hawaii General Excise Tax returns
Monitor client budgets, analyze variances, and present financial insights
Support tax filings and external audits by liaising with third-party CPAs as needed
Build strong client relationships with a focus on responsiveness and clarity
Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity
Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team culture
Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience in both public accounting and private/industry roles preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting operations
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or similar)
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently
CPA license preferred
