Responsibilities:
Deliver excellent client service and adapt to shifting priorities.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
Perform monthly closings and produce timely financial statements and reconciliations.
Monitor client expenses, comparing to budgets and prior periods.
Prepare and file client Hawaii general excise tax returns.
Provide information to client’s external tax accountants and auditors, as needed.
Maintain confidentiality and protect the organization’s values.
Contribute to a positive company culture.
Create and update management reports.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Abilities: Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Associate’s degree with equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
Experience & Knowledge:
3–4 years accounting experience, ideally with multi-client exposure.
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Prior experience with nonprofits is a plus.
Client-facing experience is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
Experience with Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software preferred.

Salary: Starting at $65,000, depending on experience
