Pantry Cook

Waialae Country Club is a private membership club, which provides its members with a championship golf course, dining services,  health/recreational facilities and hosts the PGA Tour's Sony Open in Hawaii. Position: Pantry Cook
Status: Full-Time (30+ hours per week); Part-Time (20-29 hours per week)

Kitchen
Reports to: 
Executive Chef/Sous Chef

Responsibilities: 
  • Prepares fruits, vegetables, cold meats, seafood, dressings, cold sauces, mousses, cold soups, appetizers, salads, cereals, breads and desserts.
  • Maintains established food quality standards and consistency of menu items.
  • Sets up workstation, maintains cleanliness of work area, and monitors food temperatures.
  • Adheres to state sanitation standards.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6 months of related experience.
  • Must have excellent knife skills.
  •  Must have familiarity of duties in all areas of the kitchen.
  • Must have knowledge of culinary terminology and understanding of the fundamentals of
  • cooking.
  • Formal culinary education is preferred.
  • Must be available to work AM shifts including on weekends and holidays.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience.
